Terms and Conditions

To make things clearer, here's what we mean by:

What You Get

Step 1: Create an Account
• Register on our website or log in if you already have an account

Step 2: Place Your Order
• Choose your course (Revision or Masterclass)
• Complete the checkout process
• Your order becomes final when we send you a confirmation email AND receive your payment

Step 3: Start Learning
• You'll receive login instructions by email
• Access your course immediately after purchase

Your Login Details
• Your course access is personal to you only
• Don't share your login details with anyone
• If you share your account, we may cancel your access immediately without a refund
• You're responsible for anything that happens under your account

Accessing Course Content
• You can log in anytime during your access period
• Sometimes the platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates

14-Day Cooling Off Period
You can cancel within 14 days of purchase ONLY if you haven't completed more than 10% of the course or mock exams. Once you start using the course and complete more than 10%, you cannot get a refund.

After 14 Days
No refunds are available after 14 days, except under our Exam Success Guarantee (see Section 12).

Course Prices
• Prices are shown on our website when you purchase
• Prices may not include VAT or local taxes (these will be added at checkout if applicable)

Payment
• You must pay in full before accessing your course
• Payment is taken from your credit or debit card immediately
• Any fees your bank charges are your responsibility

What We're Not Responsible For

We Cannot Guarantee:
• That you'll pass the GARP SCR exam
• That you'll get a job or promotion
• That the course will meet any unstated purpose
• Any specific career or financial outcome

 Our Liability Limitations:
• We're not liable for any indirect losses (like lost income or opportunities)
• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course
• We're not providing investment, financial, or professional advice

What We Are Responsible For:
• Providing course access as described
• Delivering content that matches our course description
• Maintaining reasonable platform security
• Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer

Who Owns What
• We own all course content, videos, materials, and the platform
• You get a personal licence to use the materials only for studying
• You cannot copy, share, distribute, or sell our content
• You cannot record or screenshot our videos
• You cannot share your login with others

What You Can Do:
• Watch videos during your access period
• Download materials marked as downloadable
• Take notes for personal use
• Use materials for your own exam preparation

What You Cannot Do:
• Share course content with others
• Upload videos to other platforms
• Create derivative works or courses based on our content
• Use our materials for commercial purposes

If you post questions, comments, or content in our forums or discussion areas:

What You Agree To:
• We can use your posts to improve the course and help other students
• Other students can see what you post
• Don't share personal information in public forums
• Be respectful to instructors and other students

You also promise that your posts don't violate anyone else's rights (like copyright) and aren't offensive or inappropriate.

Our Rights:
• We can remove any posts at our discretion
• We can terminate access for inappropriate behaviour
• We're not responsible for content posted by other users

• Keep our course materials confidential - don't share them
• We'll keep your information confidential (see our Privacy Policy)
• This obligation continues even after your course access ends

We can immediately cancel your access and stop providing services if you:
• Don't pay your fees
• Are aggressive, bullying, offensive, threatening, or harassing to staff, instructors, or other students
• Cheat or plagiarise work
• Act fraudulently or deceitfully
• Intentionally damage our property or systems
• Break these terms and conditions
• Share your account with others

If we cancel your access for any of these reasons, you won't get a refund.

What This Means:
If you purchase Masterclass, complete all requirements, and still fail the GARP SCR exam, we'll refund 100% of your course fee.

Who's Eligible:
You must meet ALL of these conditions:
1. Purchase Timing: Buy the Masterclass course no more than 6 months before your exam
2. Complete the Course: Finish all content at least 1 day before your exam
3. Watch 95% of Videos: Complete at least 95% of video lessons and end-of-chapter quizzes
4. Pass a Mock Exam: Score 70% or higher on at least one full mock test. Don't worry, you have unlimited retakes
5. Take the Real Exam: Attend your scheduled GARP SCR exam
6. Provide Proof: Be able to show us your exam results if we ask
7. Apply on Time: Email support@climaterisk.training within 30 days of receiving your exam results

What's NOT Covered:
• Your GARP exam registration fee (you paid this to GARP, not us)
• Any other third-party costs (such as bank fees, foreign exchange losses, travel expenses, or study materials purchased elsewhere)
• The Revision course (guarantee only applies to Masterclass)

How to Claim:
Email us at support@climaterisk.training with:
• Your course purchase details
• Proof of exam results
• Confirmation that you met all requirements above
We'll verify your completion data and process your refund within 14 business days.

We want to resolve any issues quickly. Here's how:

Step 1: Contact Support (Informal)
• Email: support@climaterisk.training
• We'll acknowledge within 3 business days
• We'll try to resolve within 7 business days

Step 2: Formal Complaint (If Needed)
• Email: complaints@climaterisk.training
• Include:
- Your name and registration details
- Description of the problem
- What happened and when
- What you'd like us to do
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, emails, etc.)
• We'll acknowledge within 3 business days
• We'll provide a full response within 14 business days

Step 3: Escalation to Directors (If Still Unhappy)
• Request escalation within 14 days of our response
• Directors will review and decide within 30 days
• This decision is final

All complaints are handled confidentially. See our full Complaints Policy for more details.

• Your course is personal to you and cannot be transferred to anyone else
• We can transfer our rights and obligations to another company, for example if we sell the business. Your rights will not be affected

• These terms are the complete agreement between you and us
• They replace any previous agreements or conversations
• If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies

We're not responsible if we can't provide services due to things beyond our control, such as:
• Natural disasters (floods, fires, earthquakes)
• Terrorism or war
• Strikes or transport problems
• Government restrictions
• Internet or technology failures
• Serious illness or death in trainer's family

• These terms are governed by English law
• Any disputes will be handled by English courts
• This doesn't affect your consumer rights
